Jelena has worked with Cardboard Citizens, Tramshed, Arts Depot, Theatre Workout, SPID, Clean Break, Hampstead Theatre, and the Old Vic. She regularly directs at Drama Studio London
Jelena’s a confident, able and imaginative workshop facilitator used to working with hard-to-reach groups, people with little experience of theatre, as well as professional actors. She currently delivers drama sessions to people aged 5 to 95. Inclusion is at the heart of her practice.
COMMUNITY & EDUCATION
Jelena’s written, devised and directed many shows for a range of ages. At Chickenshed these included large-cast musicals MGM (Making Great Movies) and Dazey Chain for the company’s children’s theatre, a number of plays for final year students (17+ year olds), and productions for the company’s adult theatre workshop. She also co-wrote four of Chickenshed’s popular Christmas shows.
